After traveling the world as a tennis player in her youth and eventually competing on the WTA Tour, Yasmin Ulrich quickly found her new passion within the payments industry in 2007 after a knee surgery forced an abrupt end to her sports career.

Gaining her first experiences at Deutsche Bank´s Global Transaction Banking, Yasmin´s focus on cross-border payment and FX solutions increased while working for various renowned banks throughout a decade in Germany.

Consistently challenging the status quo, she managed Western Union Business Solutions´ strategic bank relationships and payment capabilities across EMEA while being an advocate for payment modernization and new technology. In 2019, she relocated from Germany to the United States to work at Western Union’s Denver based HQ and is now leading Partnership Strategic Insights.

Yasmin is a also member of the Global Community Council for Women In Payments, a high profile network of professionals within the payments industry to increase diversity and equality
